The Commission is proposing to recommend the introduction of international insurance business legislation. This will enable investors wishing to carry out international insurance business from Montserrat to obtain a licence.

It is intended that legislation to introduce protected cell/segregated companies will be enacted at the same time to provide investors with the choice of legal entity they wish to constitute.
